On Their Shoulders is an organ tribute project that features the instrument as well the music of Dr Lonnie Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, Charles Earland, Jimmy Smith, Elbernita“Twinkie”Clark and original compositions. The desire to combine the vibe of the original music with updated artistry and arrangements can be heard and felt within each song from the swing of “The Organ Grinder’s Swing,” the groove of “Happy Cause I’m Goin’ Home, ”big band influence on “In The Key Of The Universe,” the journey of “Pilgrimage,“ and to church with, “Expect Your Miracle. ”Add a touch of today’s vibe with “Yessaah” and “Don’t Count Me Out.”
